To Download the Custom Map:

1. Connect Garmin Montana 700 to your computer
2. Open File Explorer (PC) or Finder (Mac) and locate your Montana device, which should appear as a removeable drive
3. Navigate to the Garmin folder on the device, then locate (or create, if necessary) the CustomMaps folder
4. Copy the custom KMZ file from  your computer into the CustomMaps folder
5. Safely eject the device from your computer and disconnect
6. Power on y our Montana 700
7. Enable the custom map by going to Map Setup > Configure Maps > Custom Maps

 
Sharing Wirelessly from One Montana Device to Another:
 

On the Sending Device:

1. 1. From the main menu, select Share Wirelessly
   2. Select Send
   3. Choose the type of data you want to send
   4. Select the specific item(s) you want to send
   5. Follow the on-screen instructions to find and connect to the other compatible device

On the Receiving Device:

1. 1. From the main menu, select Share Wirelessly
   2. Select Receive
   3. The device will begin searching for devices that are trying to send data

Connecting the Devices:

1. 1. The devices must be within 10 feet of each other
   2. When the devices connect, a unique 6-digit code will appear on both screens
   3. Confrim that the codes match and press the confirmation button to approve the transfer
