Balloon Fiesta Live! 2025
Year number 9 for Balloon Fiesta Live! is now in the books. Once again, all 14 sessions, including a shortened rainout session, streamed live on BalloonFiesta.com, YouTube, and Facebook, attracting an impressive one million views and counting. The on-air team from 2024 of Art Lloyd Jr, Ted Maes, and Diane Kinderwater returned with their fun, informative, and educational commentary. Windfire Production stepped up its game, adding longer lenses, additional camera angles, and two drones to capture the action in a fashion comparable to any regional sporting event.
A higher level of viewer engagement was added this year. In addition to the chat rooms, viewers were encouraged to share their watch party pictures. More than 450 emails with 650+ pictures and videos were sent to the team, many of images were displayed on air. We also gave away NM replica license plates and Balloon Fiesta Live! jackets to lucky viewers.
All 9 years, 127 shows, and 350+ hours of Balloon Fiesta Live! remain available for you to watch and rewatch.

Balloon Fiesta Live! celebrated its 8th year of streaming all 14 sessions live around the world. More than one million viewers experienced the color, excitement and beauty that is the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
Longtime Albuquerque native and balloon pilot Ted Maes joined Executive Producer/Host Art Lloyd Jr. on the set to call all the action. Combined, they have been in attendance at 94 Balloon Fiestas. Diane Kinderwater joined the team as the on-field reporter, bringing a quirky and fun element to the show.

For the 7th year in a row, Balloon Fiesta Live! was the place to be if you couldn’t be on the field. More than 732,000 viewers tuned in live for more than 45 hours of uninterrupted, commercial-free coverage of all 14 sessions of the 51st Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
With Glen Moyer and Art Lloyd Jr on the mics, viewers witnessed all the magic of the Mass Ascensions, Competitions, Special Shapes Rodeos and Glowdeos, and this year, the 66th Gordon Bennett Coupe Aeronatique Gas Balloon Launch.

Balloon Fiesta Live! Marks 6 years!
2022
2022 marks the 6th year for Balloon Fiesta Live!, the live stream of all 14 sessions of the 9-day event. Once again this year, Glen Moyer and Art Lloyd Jr., will anchor the show from the rooftop studio, with Ruth Lind reporting from the field and Kim Vesely providing updates on America’s Challenge. Approximately 40 hours of live coverage is planned for this 50th Anniversary and Event. And if that’s not enough, more than 200 hours of live uninterrupted commercial-free coverage of the ascensions, glows, shapes, competitions, and more are now available “on-demand” using the links below. With multiple camera angles, including inside the target area for competition and in a balloon, Balloon Fiesta Live! provides a view unparalleled anywhere. And that’s just a start. The 2020 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta may have been postponed until 2021, but that didn’t stop the Balloon Fiesta Live! crew.
Glen Moyer and Art Lloyd Jr, returned this year for Balloon Fiesta Live! Siesta Edition. Still live, still providing expert commentary based on their personal ballooning experiences and friendships with our pilots and crews, Glen and Art were live for 14 sessions during the 9 days of Balloon Fiesta week. The live streams aired at the same time Balloon Fiesta would have been taking place with as normal a schedule as possible. With live video of balloons flying and glowing around the state, pictures from around the world, newly edited videos from previous years, and some footage not seen before or in a lot of years, the show featured mass ascensions on mass ascension days, shapes on shapes days, and glows on glow nights. The team even managed to call a pop-up balloon glow LIVE over the air. And they didn’t forget about our America’s Challenge Gas Balloon Race. Missed any part of Balloon Fiesta Live! Siesta Edition?
