Balloon Fiesta® Gets its Kicks on Old 66 with first of its kind off-site event and 2026 theme announcement.

Globito Glow in the Village – a nod to the upcoming centennial of historic Route 66 and the 66th anniversary of the Village of Los Ranchos – is a free event that will take place on New Mexico Day, Monday, October 6. This is the first time an event will be held outside of Balloon Fiesta Park and focuses solely on remote-controlled hot air balloons. In addition to the Globito Glow, the event will feature lowrider displays, live music, and food and drink specials from local businesses.
