Youth Group Package

The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is working to enhance your youth group experience at this year’s Balloon Fiesta.  You may now pre-register your group to attend an event and include a craft project at the Balloon Discovery Center.  The Balloon Discovery Center is located at the North end of Balloon Fiesta Park and offers visitors a hands-on experience with interactive exhibits illustrating the principles of lighter-than-air flight, the history of the sport, and safety aspects of ballooning. A hot air balloon exhibit has a basket in which kids can "burn" the burners and simulate a balloon flight. Another exhibit demonstrates the "Albuquerque Box" effect.  The theater area features speakers from various aspects of ballooning, story time, puppet shows and videos about ballooning. 

Admission for children under 12 is free. There is a $1 fee per child to include a craft project at the Balloon Discovery Center.  Adult admission is $6 per person and parking is $10 for vehicles or $40 for buses.  Once you submit your registration form with payment we will send you a packet that includes your parking pass, a detailed map showing the bus parking area, the location of the Balloon Discovery Center and tickets for the adult chaperones.
