This October, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is proud to host the world’s oldest aviation race. The 52nd Coupe Aeronautique Gordon Bennett launched Monday evening, October 6, 2008 from Balloon Fiesta Park. Only two other cities in the world – Brussels, Belgium and Paris, France – have hosted four Gordon Bennett races.
