It is the Balloon Fiesta’s policy to provide media credentials
to employees of established media organizations, and to freelance reporters or
photographers on assignment for such organizations.
It is not our policy to credential those who wish to cover
the event for private commercial purposes, to media with private circulation
(e.g., a trade union newspaper), or to media with a very limited audience.
Qualified media may apply for credentials in person from
Balloon Fiesta staff starting Friday, October 6, at the Balloon Fiesta Media
Tent, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Media may also apply for credentials at the Media Tent during
Balloon Fiesta from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. daily and 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. during evening
events.
Parking and admission fees ($10 parking per vehicle, $6 single
admission) to reach the Media Tent after October 6 will not be reimbursed. |
